Meeting Michelle your Helping Hand
Welcome to the About Section for meeting your Helping Hand, Michelle. Thank you for taking the time to try and get to know more about me. I am hoping that this information will help you get a better idea of what type of person I am. I also hope it will lead us to a working relationship.
So let’s get to know your Helping Hand, Michelle better.
My name is Michelle Mahler. I have one child, whom I am very proud of (but honestly, what parent isn’t proud of their child?) LOL. I am currently engaged to a man who I think is a rare find.
Hobbies:
Hiking – The picture that is associated with this page was taken while we were hiking at Niagara Falls.
Cooking – I enjoy cooking so much that I actually use it as a stress relief.
Reading – I enjoy reading books and articles that are associated with any work that I do.
Family time – In today’s day and age most people are glued to their computer or phone screens. I take family time seriously. I want to know how everyone really is and how their lives are going. I do not have a “no phone at the dinner table rule” because I try to make conversations that will entice people to engage in conversation with me instead of their phones.
Watching Movies – I personally enjoy moves that are not predictable and those that tell a good story or have a hidden agenda.
Video games – I know that at my age this is probably odd. I only play once in a while when I have some free time.
However, my two all-time favorite things to do is listen to music – I listen to all kind of music – and have a bonfire. A bonfire with music is even better!
Other things to know about Michelle:
I am often referred to as a Tomboy. I prefer to talk about cars, football, and things of that nature. I rarely am a girly girl. Because of that, my mom has nicknamed me Macho Mahler. LOL.
I have been told on more than a few occasions (in the form of a compliment) that I think outside the box. I have also been told that I am a hard worker and I can be depended on to complete the tasks assigned to me. I have also been told that I am very down to earth and easy to talk to. And on many occasions I have been told that I am fun and funny. (Hey, looks can’t be everything, right?)
I pay attention to details and the needs of anyone I deal with (in work or in life). I take pride in everything I do and always put my best foot forward. Otherwise, what is the point of doing something? I am able to follow directions and uphold confidentiality for all my clients.
General background and/or history of Michelle.
When I was a senior in High School, I was enrolled in a program called the Work/Study program. I went to school half of the day and went to work for the rest of the day. At that point in time, I was the Administrative Assistant to a CEO of a local Goodwill Industries. After that I went on to become a Secretary for an Accounting Firm. Post High School, I was a Legal Secretary and/or Legal Assistant for a few Law Firms. I worked for a Personal Injury firm, an Insurance Defense firm, and a Debt Collection firm. I was also an Administrative Assistant to a staffing agency. For the last six years of my life I have been a Virtual Assistant.
As you can see, many of my past positions gave me skills that allow me to help you. If you find yourself in need of a “helping hand” contact me and let’s get the conversation started!
